I have some trouble modifying the draw distances of automatically placed detail props:

When i last had a go at it a few years ago,
i could control it client side via
cl_detaildist and cl_detailfade.

These commands don't seem to exist in Insurgency though.

I have found the env_detail_controller point entity, which should give much better results,
since apparently it automatically overrides the cl_detaildist and cl_detailfade values for all players when the map is loaded.

However, no matter which values i put in there, the default fade distances of my detail props don't change.

My question is thus:

How do i control the draw and fade distance of detail props?
