I've uploaded my latest map, Launch Control Coop... An insurgent force has taken over a nuclear missile silo and threatens to launch the missile. Your team must secure the facility and destroy the launch control console to eliminate the threat. report: black skybox (is this map issue or client side bug ?)

Bots often goes and stuck in this place (when it's closed):

EDIT: I just died on the ladder after i captured the Echo, i walk into it from the bottom and then i normally walk down from it and died.

I've found the ladder to be a little tricky myself.  At the top, I can walk right on to it and follow it down (don't try to jump or run).  At the bottom, it requires a press of the jump button to attach.  I killed myself several times at first, so I extended the ladder brush a little higher than the ladder itself. 

 

I extended the nav mesh in that location.  For some reason, I couldn't get nav_generate to function on this map.  I had to manually mark the walkable surfaces (not a good time) and run a nav_analyze.

 

You're the first to report a skybox problem.  I kept it pretty simple on this map.  I didn't bother with a 3dskybox given it was mostly underground.

Yes...also some of the doors in Jack Hammer were too narrow.

So, i have black skybox when i set shaders to medium, but on maximum, it's fine

Reaching the surface would be a satisfying finale for the map.

It's a pretty maze down there. What about some help, like arrows or signs ... ?

+1 about the surface, i thought about blowing up the rocket and running away from it 

Yea it's a maze, but i like it Big Grin, for newcomers it's like hell, they do not know from where bots will come, it's fun to watch and funnier to play Smile

I've uploaded the beta 7 version of the map.

 

- Added additional content, including two new control points

- Modified entry stairs

- Added new environmental effects (alarms, explosions, fires, etc.)

- Optimized nav mesh (bots will occasional hide under stairs)

EDIT: I have to ask: Bots now comming from the newly built door leading directly to a Launch Control Room adn players can go there as well (no restricted area down there), are both cases on purpose or bug ? (i think that the player side is a bug).


New stairs are great (for me at least, i ask players but nobody respond, so i assume they like it as well Big Grin)


Also any chance of second entrance to the complex (i mean in the fence), we always flank the complex from the left and after we clear whole area those of us who did the flanking must go all the way to the other side, i see no purpose for that :/
