I don't know how far along any progress on it may be, so I'm asking "can you" less as a "can you"and more as a "are you allowed to"/"do you feel the need to".

Right now it's early, but we are testing it. You can actually try it ingame yourself by typing "snd_obstruction_enable 1" into console. Just understand it's a bit rough and we're still working on it.

We're not really drawing from any game in particular. We're just gonna make sure it fits for the kinds of levels and spaces that we have.

And how would I disable it once it's turned on? Sorry, I'm not very well educated in console commands and other technical computer gizmos...
Also it's been about a year since this thread was first created, I assume there's been some kind of improvements to the occlusion in-game?

In order to turn any command back you use 0 instead of 1.

So, in this case it would be:

snd_obstruction_enable 0

And this pattern goes for all Source commands.
